Meaghan Hassan is an Associate with the firm and concentrates her practice in land use planning, zoning, municipal, environmental, real estate law, as well as litigation involving land use determinations.
Ms. Hassan is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association.
Ms. Hassan received her law degree (J.D. 2022) from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, graduating cum laude. Ms. Hassan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Geography (B.A. 2019) from Binghamton University.
While in law school, Ms. Hassan provided pro bono legal services as a student attorney with the Low-Income Taxpayers Clinic at Hofstra University. Ms. Hassan also served as the President of the Real Estate Law Association and was on the Moot Court Board. Ms. Hassan worked as a legal intern with the NYS Office of the Attorney General within the Real Property Litigation Bureau in 2021, prior to joining Sahn Ward after graduation in 2022.
Ms. Hassan primarily works with both developer and municipal clients in securing and drafting land use approvals.
