Kyle Lawrence is counsel to the firm and advises clients in all types of corporate transactions, including private placements, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity acquisitions and sales, corporate finance, business planning and strategies, licensing, manufacturing, supply and distribution arrangements. He provides dedicated, hands-on support to the Firm’s clients from negotiation to closing. His knowledge of business planning allows clients to successfully face daily business challenges with confidence and success.
Mr. Lawrence serves as general counsel to a wide range of longstanding business ventures and entities, as well as numerous entrepreneurial endeavors. He serves as outside general counsel to various privately owned companies, for whom he provides advice and guidance on all aspects of day-to-day corporate and business matters.
In addition, Mr. Lawrence regularly represents clients in a wide range of industries, including food and nutraceutical manufacturing and distribution, restaurants, emerging technologies, retail, light manufacturing, lending and software development. He also regularly advises private issuers and principals with respect to fund formation, operations, and compliance matters in his active private equity practice.
Mr. Lawrence is admitted to practice in the State of New York and before the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association.
In addition, he is a Founding Member of the Hydra Collective, a professional networking organization created by and for the next generation of leaders in their respective fields. He also volunteers his time with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Maurer Foundation.
In 2016 and 2017, Mr. Lawrence was selected by Super Lawyers as one of the top rated Securities and Corporate Finance Attorneys in the Garden City, New York area.
Prior to his admission to the New York Bar, Mr. Lawrence graduated from Tulane University in 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. In 2006, he earned his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University Law School.
