Ellen N. Savino is a partner of the Firm practicing real estate law and transactions. Ms. Savino was associated with several prominent Long Island law firms prior to joining SAHN WARD BRAFF KOBLENZ COSCHIGNANO PLLC. She has represented major institutional lenders and credit unions as well as real estate investors and business owners. Ms. Savino has extensive knowledge and experience in handling all aspects of real property law, including institutional financing, real estate sale, acquisition and leasing transactions, as well as foreclosure and real estate litigation.

From 2006 to 2018, Ms. Savino served as Counsel to New York State Senator Carl Marcellino of the Fifth Senate District.

In 2019, Ms. Savino was recognized by RichnerLIVE Communications and Herald Community Newspaper as a Top Real Estate Lawyer on Long Island. In 2017, she was named to Long Island Business News as “Who’s Who in Professional Services” which honors influential businesswomen who take a lead role in their companies. Ms. Savino was also recognized by Hofstra Law as an Outstanding Women in Law. In addition, she was honored in 2016 by Schneps Communications and Star Network as a “Power Woman in Business”. In 2014, she was recognized in Long Island Business News as “Who’s Who in Commercial Real Estate Law”. In 2003 and 2008, Ms Savino was named one of the Top 50 Most Influential Women on Long Island by Long Island Business News. Ms. Savino has also received the distinction of receiving the Class of 2002 Business Recognition and Leadership Award from the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Ms. Savino is a member of a wide array of professional and community activities. She is a former trustee and past president of the Glen Cove Library Board. She is also a former member of Women Economic Developers of Long Island (WEDLI), where she served as a board member for four years. Ms. Savino is also a member of Columbian Lawyers Association.

Ms. Savino is also actively involved with her alma mater, Hofstra University, where she has served as an affiliate instructor, teaching real property law for the Paralegal Studies Certificate Program as well as a mentor for the Hofstra Law Mentorship Program.

Ms. Savino received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Hofstra University. She was a member of Phi Betta Kappa and Psi Chi. Ms. Savino graduated from Hofstra Law School and is admitted to the New York State Bar, Second Judicial Department. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
